Answer: During the tax seasons, it can take IRS 2 to 4 weeks to cash the checks, if not longer.
First, check to see if the cash has been debited from your checking account. If it is not cashed and you are still concerned, the easiest way to find out is to call IRS directly at 1-800-829-1040 to speak to an IRS representative.
The only way to check if the check has been credited to your IRS account is by calling IRS. There is no online solution at the moment.
